How do we live with ourselves?

We are all different human beings, some have big noses and some aren´t too happy with their own nose.

So I wonder, what make us accepting who we are and make the best out of things ? Or, make it harder for ourselves ?

I met this woman today, her nose was big, a typical nose nobody would like to have, the first thought that hit me was, Thank God for my nose.

But then I started, slowly to realize how beautiful she was. Her movements, like she was the queen of the room just there and then, her dark eyes was filled

with something sparkling that I haven´t noticed with anyone before. Her nose, wasn´t that ugly at all.. Because it fitted her just perfect, it made her whole and to the

wonderful and beautiful person she was.

How do we accept our errors, and just see it as a part of us instead of try to live up to some kind of a fake perfectionism.

This is my point, having a perfect outside doesn´t feed the glowing thing inside of us, called life.

We all keep hanging on this fast changing in modern time, we keep watching the televisions that brainwash us to think the beauty is the true hapiness, and there more money the more power and possibilities, we follow the trends which is nothing but hapiness for the moment and the death tomorrow. Is the modern world trying to poison the thing that put us here in first place? Let us not get too deep, but ask your self, what do you do with yourself? At least, whatever you do, keep the little sparkle inside of you alive and feed it, and you will shine as the diamond.

"MIX" Marc Santaniello - King of the T-skirt!

I was lucky to get to interview this
fantastic man from Italy, I am so in love with his artwork!
He is famous for his unique
design of t-skirts (yeah.. u heard right!) And here´s more why you should be curious about him...

Name: Marco Santaniello
Age: 26, will be 27 in 18th of December.
Country: Italy, Milan.
Work: Fashion/ luxuary Journalist / www.lussuosissimo.com / www.mixmixmix1981.spaces.live.com

First of all ... Who are you??
I´m a creative man, that try to enter into the fashion and contemporary art without any "help" and especially by going ahead without having care of what people think about me and my projects.

Do you wanna tell us a little about your t-skirts and contemporary art and where did u get the idea from??

I think the T-skirt is the best idea I have ever had, how I got the idea??
I was waiting for a pizza from the pizza boy, but when he rang on the house bell, I was almost naked, but I had to open the door to take my pizza.. So I thought " I must find something to put on". I saw my t-shirt on the floor , took it up and down to up! The pizza boy looked at me in a strange way but he gave me the pizza! I was seeing in the mirror and here it is the t-skirt!

What is your inspiration and how did this all start?

I used to love contemporary arts and sculptures/drawings, I can´t draw so well so I must express in a different way! So I use cardboards, aluminium, toilets paper rolls, and collage from magazines and comics. Really cheap materials! so POP!
I love the Pop Art and the Andy Warhol´s factory, and I am trying to create a Factory
in Milan! But without drugs!
I think The Pop Art is one of my most sources of inspiration, but especially the pop colours.
But if we talk about fashiondesign I can say that my way is Geometric & Radical Pop chic!
Other sources of inspirations are like.. Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, ´50 ´60s movies, Pulp Fiction.
I think I wont have a definted way of thinking because I want to be really versatile.

What do people say when they see your t-skirts??

A lot of people love it, I´ve found just 10 people who told me it´s no good! But 10 italian people, I don´t like Italy because Italy is a bit slow for fashion!

What do you hope to do in 10 years time?

No please, I dont like this kind of question! If you think that I´d like to be dead
because I don´t like this world.
Maybe too because I totally don´t care about what people think about all things about me.

How do you make a combination between fashion and art ?

I think I was just created this way, I have a great passion about fashion and contem
porary art, and photography. They have got big parts in my mind.
I´m so passionate about a lot of things that make me so awake and aware about
fashion trends and almost all sort of art.
I think I did a combination with my T-SKIRT, its so simple but so incredible!

Are you very radical in the way you are thinking?

Always! I am totally radical!
I do think black and white, but I´m not stupid, I mean I can recognize what´s good
or bad! And I´ve got alot of ideas against the churches and the governments.
I am so anarchist but in a pacific way.

And a bit punk and mod too..??

I love punk!!  I love the sexpistols! But I  do love velvet underground as well!
Yes but not the mod properly, I mean I like mod but not too much! Because all the mod are all same, but I prefer punk!

So you don´t own a scooter then ?

No, I cant drive.. I don´t know how to do it, and cars as well..  I just dont like motors!

Do you have any "muse"

Of course! Audrey Hepburn, Agyness Deyn, Edie Segdwick and many others!

what do you think makes somebody beautiful?

A spontanous , strange and being herself !

What is luxury to you??

The real luxury is not cars, hotels and yatch.. The REAL luxury is to have
a diamond on some pants, and nobody sees it!

And in the end.... When are you coming to Norway??

Who knows! Maybe I will come to Norway!

Sushi Sushi! (Why you should eat sushi too!!)

I love sushi, and I think I'm addicted to Sushi. Nothings better than a cold beer and plate full of fresh made sushi.. I can eat as much Sushi I want without feeling guilty, because in fact its very good for you!
Here's why YOU should eat sushi too:
1)The portions are small, which make you eat slower..
2)Wasabi is rich in vitamine C and protest your teeth! ( its protects your teeth from bacterias)
3)The fish is full of b-vitamins, minerals like selenium and Omega 3 = good for your skin, brain and prevent heart dieases, depression and psoriasis.
4)The rice is again is good for you with fish and it cotains vitamins, minerals and fiber!
5)Seaweed is one of the richest source of healthy minerals on earth, including calcium, magnesium, iron and phosphorous - minerals the modern diet is often sorely lacking.
And its also known seaweed can remove dangerous substances from our bodies like heavy-meatals.
6)Ginger is like aspirin, but just better.. It thins blood and providing relief from headaches and protect us from blood clots..
7) And finally.. The beer you will enjoy with your sushi is full of b-vitamins! :P
No wonder why the japanese people are so healthy!!

Drama queens

Being a drama queen is synomonous with being beautiful, wild and extremly feminine, because way back in the history drama has always been linked to women, just take example the word "hysterical" its ancient greek and the word "hysteria" means uterus, and therefore did Hippocrates tell us that only women could be hysterical.. Sadly and true enough still today being hysterical is a woman-thing! But we all have got a dramatic side of us,even men.. but some people take it all out and often the woman..

She's desperate for attention, and love the limelight. Take Monroe, her life was a drama, she was the queen.. And an heroine, why do we love them so much and same time hate them?

Have you ever noticed how the supermodels walk down the catwalk, dramatic and so powerful, like "here i come, and this is what I am".. Is she the one we want to be? Or maybe.. trying to be? We spend so much time trying to be something we aren't and to look like something that is not real, we become so fake that we become the real drama queen over being beautiful.
